  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    This position will be located in Norfolk, Virigina

    Responsible for the overall management and performance of the Slot department.

    • Oversee Slot Operations to ensure proper procedures are being followed in accordance with company policy.
    • Supervise, hire, schedule, train, evaluate, coach, counsel, and terminate Slot Department personnel.
    • Resolve customer disputes arising in the Slot Department.
    • Submit Internal Control revisions to streamline Slot Operations.
    • Maintain knowledge of competitive Slot practice.
    • Utilize professional human relationship skills to select, develop and motivate staff.
    • Evaluate and participate in the approval of customer credit.
    • Assists the Director of Slots in preparation of the departmental budget, and performs the duties of the Director of Slots in his/her absence.
    • Performs slot department performance analyses, operations analyses, and other related functions
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Must be at least 21 years of age.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in gaming, with a concentration in slots, preferred.
    • Minimum of three (3) years of related management experience preferred.
    • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Performance of this job will take place in both an office setting as well as the casino floor. Jobholder will be exposed to certain casino-related environmental factors including but not limited to noise, second-hand smoke, and varied degrees of lighting. ·
    • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
