Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Small Group Reading Teacher to support students in developing foundational reading skills. This role involves working with small groups of students in a pull-out setting to provide targeted instruction, monitor student progress, and support literacy growth. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students succeed and enjoys working in a collaborative educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide small group reading instruction focused on phonics, fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary.

• Use data to plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to students’ individual needs.

• Conduct regular progress monitoring and maintain records of student performance.

• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to align instruction and share insights.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

• Participate in professional development and staff meetings as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for literacy and student growth.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or coursework in education preferred.
