The Transaction Analysis Team Lead will serve as a pivotal leader in overseeing compliance monitoring operations across different countries for Small World Money Transfer. This role involves direct management of a team and the implementation of robust monitoring programs, especially focusing on authorised locations, “Agents” & Digital Channels transactions. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing live operations on a 24/7 basis and will report to the Transaction Analysis Team Manager & Local Chief Compliance Officer.

Role details:
Lead the transaction analysis team who conduct real time monitoring, analyzing transactions details, customers profiles, checking customers legal sources and reviewing Possible Sanctions & PEP (Politically exposed person) matches.
Design and execute regular training sessions for analysts to keep them informed on the latest compliance protocols and regulations. Conduct annual training for both new and existing team members. Furthermore, serve as a mentor, assisting in their professional development through the implementation of performance-enhancing guidelines and orientations.
Review, update and/or create Transaction Monitoring Policies and Procedures.
Screening and Watchlist oversight.
Ensure seamless 24/7 live operation monitoring, including weekends and holidays, coordinating with international teams as necessary.
Be flexible in helping other compliance departments in case of ¨urgent¨ matters.
Collaborate in specific compliance projects.
Collaborate in dealing with Audits (internal and external) and regulatory examinations.
Produce monthly and annual reports and attend local compliance committees.
Any additional responsibilities designated by the Global Transaction Analysis Team Manager and the Head of Compliance for North America.
Qualifications:
Bachelor´s degree.
A minimum 3 years' experience in a compliance monitoring role, preferably within and MSB or financial services environment.
Experience in managing and training teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in utilizing monitoring and screening software's, SaaS platform.
Mandatory: exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal (English & Spanish).
Additional Requirements:
Capable of operating within a multicultural team setting across multiple time zones and adapting to operational requirements.
Willingness to travel as needed.
