Job SummaryWe are seeking an API Integration Developer with technical design experience to contributetoward the success of Customer Experience Digital Transformation initiative using CloudIntegration Services (iPaaS). This position will play a critical role in developing APIs andintegration services using Informatica’s Intelligent Cloud Services and Apigee in AWS. TheDeveloper will work on a structured Agile Integration Product team and will be required toconsult with business users and analysts on requirements gathering, api design, configuration,and implementation in an exciting multi-cloud development environment that includesSalesforce, AWS, Azure and SAP Gigya. This is a hand’s on role and we are looking forsomeone who can independently own these efforts, propose solution design, guidelines includingbest practices and work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities- Design, build, test & document API/Integration solutions: Collaborate with integrationteam, business analysts and the platform vendor teams to develop API solutions usingiPasS solution.- Analyze existing processes, applications and interfaces.- Participate in transformation, orchestration, aggregation and enrichment design exercisesin order to design and implement an API.- Develop APIs and service integrations using application integration and integration hubplatform tools in addition to Java, .Net, Node.js or Python & then publishing the APIs toApigee (API Gateway/Management).- Ensure that best practices and enterprise standards are followed. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities- Has a good knowledge of current integration design and integration patterns.- Experience Informatica cloud application integration platform- Experience in developing APIs, and using both sync and async integration patterns (Rest,SOAP, XML, messaging, queues, event streams, etc.).- Experience working with one of these programming languages – Java, .Net, Node.js orPython and related tool chains to develop SOAP and Restful Web Services.
Qualifications- Minimum 5 to 7 years software development experience in any Integration Platformmiddleware tool, Informatica Cloud Application Integration, Cloud Integration Hub,IBM’s Message Broker or IIB, etc..- Application integration using REST / SOAP web services.- Agile methodology and development team experience highly recommended- Experience in writing and debugging SQL queries.
