TITLE: Full Stack Developer

POSITION TYPE: Full Time, Exempt

REPORTS TO: Product Manager

As a Full Stack Developer at Smart City, we'd want you to:

• Lead projects, provide technical guidance, identify risks, proactively learn and share, and mentor more junior team members
• Understand our business, build relationships with employees, and guide strategic decisions to make successful products and roadmaps
• Communicate professionally and empathetically, solicit and provide feedback, actively offer help, and make sure everyone is aligned
• Collaborate with our team's Product Manager to analyze user requirements and translate into technical design documents
• Guide architecture and implementation discussions while helping remove barriers, establish best practices, and strategically manage risk
• Work collaboratively on a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and the leadership team
• Learn from everyone, no matter what their title is

Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrated back-end experience.
• 2+ years front-end development
• 5+ years with relational databases, preferably in MySQL
• Detailed understanding of RESTful API Design
• Experience with GCP-hosted web applications
• Experience working in an Agile Delivery model
• Experience working in a Continuous Deployment model

• Third Party Services: SendGrid/Twilio, Delighted
• Version Control: Bitbucket
• Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform
