QT/QML/C++ Developer - Job Description - LOCATION TYLER,TX
Responsibilities:
- Design/Create cross platform applications supporting business needs and customer requirements, including phones and tablets.
- Extend existing software to support future visions and branding of the current products
- Work closely with the product team to translate high-level requirements into detailed user flows
- Work with UX requirements and be able to answer questions or address concerns
- Integrate licensing server toolkits for PC based applications for purchased application deployment.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure backlog (tickets and Epics) contain the necessary detail to ensure efficient prioritization, coding, testing, and client validation.
- Be an expert at identifying and acting against complex and distant potential road blockers, holding team members accountable for identifying and addressing individual road blockers to personal progress.
- Consistently demonstrate excellent technical knowledge and proficiency, sharing this with others in their team to improve performance.
- Lead and attend Backlog grooming and Lead Sprint Review sessions, while making sure to attend all other sprint events as an active participant.
- Bring commercial expertise, sound business judgment, and draw on external sources to prioritize and help reshape the product vision and road map.
Requirements
- Minimum of a B.S. degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience supporting engineering efforts in building desktop applications on Windows/Mac
- Strong proficiency with Programming Language such as C, C++, Go, Java, Python, C#, etc.
- Experience with Qt framework/QML
- Experience with licensing schemes for desktop applications
- Experience Agile / Scrum with the ability to lead standups.
- Working knowledge of configuration management and source code management system
- Work in Jira, and/or Confluence environment
