    By joining SmartNews's Human Resources (HR) team for your internship, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a broad range of HR projects and initiatives while supporting our teams in San Francisco and New York. You will gain versatile exposure in numerous areas within HR such as employee engagement, employee benefit, human capital management and much more.

    We are looking for a proactive individual who can quickly build rapport across the HR team and the client groups that they support. Additionally, you will learn how the HR team supports the overall organization and gain insights into working in a Human Resources role in a fast paced, growing, technology company.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support onboarding program
    • Analyze HR data
    • Research for hybrid work model
    • Support for new benefit software implementation
    • Research for Human Capital Data Management (ISO 30414)
    • Contribute to other ad-hoc HR projects like company branding at social media for hiring, process improvement, employee engagement survey analysis etc.

    Qualifications:

    • In pursuit of Bachelor's or Master's Degree
    • Relevant major/area of study
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Relevant prior internship experience

    Additional Information:

    • Ideal start month: April or May, 2021
    • Ideal end month: July, August or September 2021
    • Hours: 2040 hours/week
    • We will work with your internship office for school credit if necessary.
