RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write clean and maintainable code for our Android application (Java, Kotlin)
• Collaborate with teams in Japan and the US
• Rapidly prototype new features

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Android application development
• 3+ years of object-oriented software development experience
• Experience with Multi-Threading and memory management specific to Android platform
• Solid work experience in consumer product development
• Deep understanding of UI design, data modeling and networking, as required in client application development

Preferred Qualifications

• Able to drive end to end features from mobile to backend
• Interest in journalism and news media
• Experience with cross platform development and UI component framework
