    Job Description

    If you’re a recruitment marketing or job advertising professional who is curious about life inside of a fast-growing software company, this role is for you!

    Reporting to the GM, Advertising Products, the Advertising Strategist will serve as SmartRecruiters’ first dedicated job advertising SME. This role is roughly  ⅔ customer-facing, ⅓ internal operations and strategy.

    The ideal candidate will be excited to wear several hats: 

    1. Educator - teach customers about the job advertising landscape, trends, and best practices
    2. Advisor - show customers how to best manage job ad spend using our marketplace, job distribution, and programmatic advertising products
    3. Entrepreneur - give input to product and go-to-market strategy as we grow the ad business

    If hired as an Advertising Strategist at SmartRecruiters, we anticipate you will be responsible for: 

    • ONBOARD - As our customers implement the SmartRecruit ATS, assist with proper setup and onboarding into our advertising products (such as SmartDistribute job distribution).
    • BUILD - Partner with the GM, product marketing, and others to build out the materials (e.g., reporting templates, webinar presentations)  + processes needed to educate and support our customers at scale.
    • EDUCATE - Deliver one-to-many workshops and webinars that educate on successful ROI strategies and playbooks for making the best use of our products. Assist with QBRs and presentation of ad metrics.
    • ADVISE - Provide custom recommendations on budget allocation to our largest, strategic customers. Coordinate internally with media buying and performance (programmatic/PPC) colleagues to package and support delivery of tailored solutions.

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years overall experience with a Recruitment Advertising Agency
    • 1+ years of direct media planning responsibility
    • Strong presentational and communication skills
    • Strong digital job advertising knowledge (duration-based and performance-based media)
    • Comfort with data analysis and reporting
    • Creativity and flexibility as we evolve and grow our advertising offerings
    • Business development/sales/account management experience
