JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for leading both projects and staff to deliver projects of a high quality and timely manner in the following areas:

• Architect, deploy, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise class wired and wireless networks

• Consults with customers in pre-sales solutions engineering role

• Escalation support for Network Technicians

• Direct helpdesk support

• Occasional on-call duty

• Weekend work WILL be required

• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 2 years of experience

• Any combination of College or Tech School Graduate, or Certifications in relevant fields.

• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH RUCKUS WI-FI EQUIPMENT

• Excellence in Customer Service

• Excellence in both written and verbal communications

• Strong organization and project management skills

• Strong Layer 2/3 understanding

• Strong IPv4 skills including subnetting

• Network services such as NTP, DNS, DHCP, etc

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

· Experience with low latency applications such as voice and video

· Strong IPv6 skills

· Experience with Brocade ICX Series switches in a production enterprise environment

· Experience with Ruckus Wireless equipment in a production enterprise environment

· Experience with industry standard wired and wireless solutions from Cisco, HP (Aruba), etc.

· Experience with monitoring platforms that use SNMP, syslog, OpenFlow, S-Flow, etc.
