    DESCRIPTION:

    Patricio Enterprises (PE) is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Supply System Analyst position in support of an upcoming proposal for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution. The Supply System Analyst should have working knowledge of a broad range of supply program relationships in order to conduct studies, reviews, and investigations.  The Supply Systems Analyst should have a thorough knowledge of policies and procedures is required to manage and control material through the receipt, storage, warehousing, issue, packing, and/or transportation functions.    

    PRIMARY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

    Possess the knowledge and skills required to analyze existing policies, procedures and determine the impact of proposed changes to supply systems.

    Analyze transactions/data to determine problem areas.

    Determine the feasibility of consolidating, eliminating, or expanding interrelated supply systems functions.

    Provides the impact of new/proposed changes to the system/regulations.

    Coordinates with functional users to resolve operational and procedural problems.

    Researches functional problem area.

    Serves as the DLA Distribution Defense Standard System (DSS) Management Information System (MIS) focal point for the Government in receiving communication and responding to information pertaining to DSS.

    Performs DSS-MIS functions:

    • Monitor DSS-MIS data transmission.
    • Review and correct DSS-MIS errors daily.
    • View location table information.
    • View work center information.
    • View audit request information.
    • Identify and collect and submit manual counts.
    • Use flat files to validate the workload data.
    • Submit audit requests when any potential discrepancies in workload data are suspected or discovered.
    • Research all errors that are not related to work center and location tables and complete the appropriate corrective action.

    Serves as the QMF query writer to write new queries as required.

    Evaluate operations and Client priorities to establish work plan to meet all requirements.

    Responsibility for the timely submission of error free reports to PE Corporate and the Government Client.

    Uses DSS and other Government Data Systems.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • Experience shall include as a minimum three (3) years’ experience WMS, such as DSS or MAT, within the past five (5) years.
    • Must have the experience and ability to perform the responsibilities stated in the above job description.
    • Must have minimum of intermediate computer skills. This role requires using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Knowledge of all MS office programs.
    • Must be able to lift, carry, move, push, pull up to 40 pounds unassisted and be willing to wear all required safety equipment.
    • Prior supply experience working for or supporting Defense Logistics Agency or United States Navy is preferred.

    • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
    • MUST HAVE A TOP SECRET / SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE.
    • Strong communication and leadership skills required.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with Project Manager and engineering to implement innovative solutions.
    • Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.
    • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
    • Write well designed, testable, efficient code and unit tests.
    • Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
    • Perform demonstrations and briefings to customers to ensure program success.
    • Perform technical support for products at customer sites.
    • Perform system monitoring, optimization, and high performance tuning.
    • Perform requirements analysis, system design, and draft technical documentation.
    • Participate in research and development for system engineering and product advancement.
    • Domestic travel as needed.
