The successful candidate will have expert knowledge in the configuration and management of the Enterprise Level implementation of Host Based Security System (HBSS) to the NAVAIR Data Center assets and remote sites following DOD mandated requirements.
THIS WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS:
- McAfee E-Policy 4.5 Server
- McAfee HBSS Agent (Windows and Unix) 4.5.
- McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS) 7.0 P7
- McAfee Policy Auditor (IAV(M)) 5.2 or higher
- McAfee Asset Baseline Monitor 3.1
- McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise 8.7i
- Develop and maintain the 7.2.4 Data Center's HBSS SOPs, implementation planning, overall architecture and how the 7.2.4 Data Center will ensure HBSS will be fully operationalized in accordance with CYBERCOM direction.
- May supervise others.
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of how the HBSS system is configured and tuned to mitigate threats and adhere to DISA’s requirements for compliance and, understanding how a change impacts our backend Windows, Linux and Solaris systems.
- Knowledge in HBSS and its Graphical User Interface (GUI).
- In-depth knowledge of the cause and effect of DISA STIGS and keeping compliant with HBSS CTOs and other systems requirements.
- DoD compliant (IAT Level 2). Must have or obtain within 3 months from start date.
Required Experience
5 years related experience. In addition, the candidate must have experience in the following:
- HEAT ticketing system
- HIPS (Host Based Intrusion Protection)
- McAfee E-Policy Server, McAfee Enterprise Virus Protection 8.7i or higher
- Maintaining and supporting existing anti-virus, application and system patch process and procedures, respond to problems and incidents as necessary
- Server 2008/2012
- In the development, implementation, and adherence to Technical Services documentation, system standards, policies and procedures
- DISA HBSS Advanced 301 and Admin 201 ePO 5.3 Course certifications
