WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a Training Specialist to support multiple government customers. This individual will work as a technical trainer for a complex system of communication platforms which support the National Guard in their consequence management role.

Specific duties include: 

• Utilize expertise to participate and contribute to platform IT and Radio engineering design, documentation, and processes
• Research, design, development, and conduct training programs for target audiences on selected communications-electronic systems
• Offer input on development of future courses
• Serve as subject-matter expert on use of current and potential future systems
• Review and comment on technical documentation
• Provide subject-matter expertise for future upgrades on supported communication platforms

Required Skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Ability to act as a formal instructor on technical subject-matter
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written skills

Required Experience

Associate's degree in technical discipline plus ten (10) years' experience in telecommunications

OR

High School diploma (or equivalent) plus fifteen (15) years' experience in telecommunications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Ability to act as a formal instructor on technical subject-matter
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written skills
