Title: Actuary - Model Governance Location: New York, NY or Remote Salary: $130,000-$155,000 + 20% Bonus Actuarial Summary: The Model Governance Team manages model risk for the US Life Insurance division, Investment function and Corporate segment. You will assess model risk, lead model validations, provide thought leadership on model risk and modeling techniques and provide technical guidance to the modeling community and Model Risk Team. Actuarial Qualification: -FSA or ASA of the Society of Actuaries -Familiarity with actuarial models in the LTC, Life and Annuity businesses -5 + years experience in building and improving actuarial models (in GGY AXIS or another platform) -Knowledge of actuarial processes: valuation, projections, experience and pricing Smith Hanley Associates takes pride in being the premier recruiting agency serving the actuarial industry.
