    What you'll do:

    Each server's primary objective is to interact with our guests to ensure they have a great experience while dining in our restaurant.

    Servers are responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner.

    At all times, servers are expected to be attentive to our guests’ needs and make them feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed.

    Maintains a GUEST focus while performing duties.

    Assume 100% responsibility for quality of guests’ experience.

    Welcome and greet guests within one minute, make all our guests feel special. Inform guests of specials and menu changes.

    Make specific recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.

    Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.

    Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.

    Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in POS before taking items to the table.

    Communicate customer needs and requests effectively to HOH.

    Garnish bar drinks as appropriate, properly open and pour wine tableside. Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter. Pre-bus tables between each course

    Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignment. Complete opening and closing checklists.

    Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas.

    Monitor & observe guests dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service.

    Respond promptly and courteously to any requests. Provide proactive beverage refills.

    Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, and process through the POS system. Return change to the guest quickly.

    Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers before they ask. Thank the guests for their visit and invite them to return.

    Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement. Notify the manager-on-duty any time a guest is not 100% satisfied with their experience.

    Prepares dining room/section for service (sets tables, condiments, candles, silverware, sanitizes tables-chairs-floors, etc.)

    Assists guests with selections of food & beverage, makes suggestions, describes chef’s specials/chalkboards, identifies appropriate beverage parings, and answers food preparation questions.

    Provides a unique and special experience to each guest, every time. Anticipates guests needs (don’t make them ask for a refill!)

    Manicures table throughout the entire guest experience (remove all unnecessary items as needed)

    Stay updated on current menu choices, specials & menu deviations Maintains accurate timing of meal progression.

    Qualifications:

    Be 19 years of age.

    TIPS Certified

    Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.

    Must be able to work unsupervised.

    Must be available to work between the hours of 10:00 am to 1:00 am

    Must have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.

    Must be able to stand and work for up to 4 hours at a time.

    Must be able to perform repetitive motion work without the assistance of restraints, bracesor other incumbrances that limit range of motion or physical activity.

    Must be able to lift, move and shelve products and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

    Must be able to work in temperatures exceeding 85* for extended periods of time.

    Be willing to follow direction and ask questions for clarification if needed.

    Be able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

    Must possess qualities like adaptability, planning, problem solving, teamwork and multi-tasking.

    Must have above average drink knowledge of spirits, wine & beer and how to prepare cocktails from line-build to garnish.

    Is self-motivated, reliable, and able to work a flexible schedule.
