We are looking for a customer-focused host and motivated beginners to join our Smokin’ Jalapeno team!

You will be welcoming guests, seating them in the restaurant, and helping ensure they enjoy an exceptional dining experience

Responsibilities:

Greet guests with a warm and welcoming presence

Provide guests with menus

Running food whenever needed for your teammates

Assign guests to tables suitable for their needs and according to the rotation

Inform guests of promotions and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to server

Manage the flow of guests into the dining room and bar area and provide accurate wait times if appropriate

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of your designated area

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is a plus

Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time Ability to carry trays of food or supplies for prolonged periods of time

Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs and communicate to servers, managers, bartenders, etc.

Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor

Ability to multitask efficiently
