We are looking for a skilled and experienced construction site team leader to join our team and oversee the building of decks, docks, and screen rooms. You will be responsible for managing a crew of workers, ensuring the quality and safety of the work, and coordinating with clients and suppliers. You will also be expected to perform some of the construction tasks yourself with your team, such as framing, decking, roofing, and installing screens and windows. Responsibilities: • Plan and supervise the daily activities of the construction crew • Ensure that the work is done according to the specifications, budget and timeline • Monitor and enforce the compliance with safety and quality standards • Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and management • Resolve any issues or problems that arise on the site • Train and mentor new or less experienced workers • Perform various construction tasks as needed, such as measuring, cutting, drilling, nailing, etc. Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in construction or related field • Strong leadership and communication skills • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans • Proficiency in project management software • Competency in local building codes and regulations Compensation: $57,000
