    We are currently searching for a DISTRIBUTION RELATIONS MANAGER to join our team! The Distribution Relations Manager will be responsible for the day to day communication and service levels between the Smoothie King Stores and Smoothie King’s authorized Foodservice Distributor and inventory/order guide maintenance support functions to the Supply Chain department. The Distribution Relations Manager will work in tandem with the stores, internal departments, and external Distributor teams to manage the service levels and pricing to the stores. 

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Point of contact for stores who need problem resolution and solutions between the stores and the Distributor.  Be the advocate for the stores to resolve their issues with the Distributor locations.
    • Analyze Distributor Inventories at all locations. Question and communicate as needed if inventory levels look too high or too low compared to weekly movement. 
    • Audit Distributor Order Guides each month to ensure correct pricing to the stores. 
    • Analyze Distributor errors looking for patterns.  Find the systemic cause and create processes to eliminate the errors. 
    • Serve as a point of contact for our field team and internal departments. Answer questions, direct requests to appropriate team members/departments related to the Foodservice Distributor and collaborate across teams to support department projects and operations. 
    • Communicate National launch of products to the Foodservice Distributor and follow up to ensure launch dates and inventory levels are met.
    • Pull month end inventory movement from all Distributor locations into tracking sheet.  Look for changes in individual ingredient trend movement.
    • Support the Vice President of Supply Chain and team with analysis and implementation of specific programs and projects.

     

     

    SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS 

    • Outstanding interpersonal skills with an emphasis on building partnerships with internal and external partners, at all levels within the organization.        

    • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects with accuracy.

    • Strong sense of urgency and a “can-do” attitude.

    • Advanced communication skills including oral, written, and presentation.  

    • Willingness and ability to work in a collaborative, fast paced environment.  

    • Operates with a calm sense of urgency. 

    • Takes professional pride and personal ownership of his/her work and accomplishments.  

    • Honest, open communication with all internal and external team members. 

    • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable, and able to prioritize competing demands.

     

    EDUCATION / PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE 

    • High school diploma (Associates degree preferred). 
    • 4+ years in the area of inventory management or supply chain required.
    • Strong customer focus with demonstrated ability to prioritize client needs; ability to build and manage relationships with diplomacy and tact. 
    • Ability to exhibit strong vendor management skills that encompass vendor assessment.
    • Advanced analytical, negotiating, and problem solving skills a must. 
    • Intermediate to Advanced competency with the Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, etc.) 
    • Experience supporting multiple individuals at multiple levels required. 
    • Personal passion for fitness is a plus.
