Job Description:
The Web Series Producer will oversee the daily operations and logistics of multiple short vertical web series, ensuring the production is completed on time and within budget. They will collaborate closely with the production vendors and various internal departments to create an efficient production plan and handle various administrative and coordination tasks.
This contractor position offers an initial term of engagement till December 31st 2024 , with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time, based on performance and mutual interest.
Responsibilities:
Work with the director and producer on the production vendor team to develop a realistic production schedule and budget.
Manage budget and payment. Track expenses and report to internal stakeholders.
Verify the obtention of the necessary permits and clearances on all productions, and ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
Address and resolve any issues that arise during production, ensuring minimal impact on the schedule, budget, and quality.
Act as a key point of contact between the production and post-production vendors, the internal departments, and various stakeholders.
Oversee the daily operations to ensure production quality and standards are maintained.
Collaborate with the post-production vendors, the post-supervisor, and the production vendors to ensure that deliverables are met and transitions are smooth.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience managing productions under strict deadlines, experience producing web series or short-form narrative content preferred.
Expertise in technical and narrative aspects of web series production, especially the vertical format. A strong understanding of the current web series landscape.
Excellent budget management, verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
A degree in film, media production, or a related field is preferred.
