RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate new technology frameworks, tools, and infrastructure via technical research.
- Apply best of breed technology to solve mission critical business problems.
- Provide architectural leadership across core products within the business unit and beyond.
- Promote the vision of the Technology and Product Organizations.
- Determine multiple paths forward presenting pros and cons and do what is necessary to knock down barriers and obstacles to the vision and strategy
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- Have good understanding of different Cloud Computing models.
- Scripting knowledge on Python, bash and shell and automation skills using these scripts.
- Knowledge in AWS Cloud and Cloud Orchestration Tools, Containerization Docker/Kubernetes
- Experience in IAM, WAF, VPC, EC2, Route53, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, SNS, SQS, S3, EKS, API Gateway
- Experience in RDS, DynamoDB
- Build and deploy using tools: CI/CD, GIT, Jenkins, Maven, Eclipse, JIRA and Confluence.
- Code in YAML, JSON, EB extensions configurations as when needed.
- Install apache on EC2, understand what a content switch is and adding new URLs to content switch.
- AWS CLI for troubleshooting, checking logs etc.
- Payments Industry Experience is preferred.
- Experience in SDLC including associated deployment methodologies, QA processes, and performance tuning efforts.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field master’s degree preferred
Job Related Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in solutions architecture and systems engineering.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in systems architecture, analysis and applications programming
