    Looking for a chance to join a world-class medical device firm in Orange County experiencing explosive growth? In this fast-track, permanent role, you’ll be providing quality technician & validation support to QA and Operations, as directed by Quality Assurance Manager supporting the Quality Management System to ensure product quality and compliance with the standards and regulations for medical devices including ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820.     REQUIREMENTS

    • 2-5 years of Quality experience in a similar role

    • General working knowledge of quality assurance concepts such as Statistical Sampling plans, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Risk Management (RM), Device Master Record (DMR), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other quality system documentation

    • Demonstrated proficiency utilizing metrology/inspection tools (i.e., microscope, calipers, micrometer, vision systems)

    • Proficiency with QMS, ERP, word processing and spreadsheet software applications

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Conduct testing, initiate reports and provide validation support for product, process, test method, facilities, equipment and software validations;

    • Receive, identify and perform inspection (including 1st articles) of incoming raw materials, components, and assemblies according to written procedures;

    • Inspect and test in-process and final assemblies according to written procedures;

    • Generating non-conforming material reports (NCR)

    • Maintain calibration and maintenance system and perform equipment maintenance;

    • Identify, record and assist in the investigation of product quality problems;

    • Making suggestions to improve processes for product (i.e., quality, productivity, etc.),

    • Perform other QA and related activities as assigned.
