This position is responsible for new designs and existing product changes, overseeing prototype builds and pilot production launch and so much more!     Immediate opening for a  Project Engineer who possesses:

    • 3+ Years’ Electrical Engineering Experience

    • Circuit and PCB Design Experience

    • Power conversion AC to AC, AC to DC, DC to AC

    • UPS or Battery Charger or Power Supply Design Experience

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • New designs & existing product changes:

      • Oversee prototype builds, verification & product safety evaluation testing and pilot production launch.

      • Serve as the Project Manager for new design & development projects and Design Changes to existing product.

      • Provide design output in the form of, but not limited to; schematic diagrams, new design specifications, procedures, test data, bill of materials (BOM), item data master entries into M2M data base, work instructions

      • Affect changes required by design reviews, design change requests

      • Schedule and hold design reviews or product kick-off emails as required

      • Maintain design files

      • Provide design/development timeline

    • Product/Circuit Design:

      • Responsible for component level circuit design

      • Able to create schematic drawings, perform Spice simulations

      • Assess & provide design options/choices

      • Provide product development & cost estimates as required

      • Develop firmware for microcontroller designs

    • Authoring, review, editing of Engineering departmental procedures, forms & documents and ECO

    • Work closely with & provide direction to the Mechanical/PCB Designer

    • Creating Unit & PCBA test procedures

    • Writing Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) programs as required

    • Provide the Test Dept. with advanced production troubleshooting as required

    • Reviewing & approving electronic component substitutions for the Purchasing Department

    • Work with outside vendors/suppliers in developing power circuits/modules for use in products (Meanwell, Steed, etc.), test & approve power circuits/modules

       

    • Provide advanced product support via phone or e-mail as required
