Immediate opening for a Marketing Communications Specialist,Irvine, CA, who possesses:
- 2-3 years experience in Social Media and Graphic Design.
- Ideally a background from Medical Device, Biotech, Pharmaceutical, or a healthcare related field.
Duties and Responsibilites:
- Assist in the planning and implementation of everyday and long-term social media strategy and campaigns; maintain and execute on a content calendar for internal audiences · Gather and report out on all mentions of relevant glaucoma news within the industry
- Aid in the creation of new paid search marketing initiatives · Ideate and pitch fresh new creative concepts for (but not limited to) LinkedIn and Twitter
- Work cross functionally with marketing, creative agencies, and HR to help create social content that is in line with business objectives, product and brand launches, and internal communications
- Manage multiple responsibilities to produce and deliver high quality work according to schedule
- Support marketing and sales team as needed
- Upload, steward, and manage approvals within the document control system, as needed
- Light copywriting and editorial proof reading as needed
- Perform other duties or special projects as requested The candidate must be flexible and able to wear multiple hats of responsibility in a fast-paced start-up environment.
