REQUIREMENTS & E__SSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP PP, MM

• Contribute to the development of IT operational strategies to align with the overall business strategy as well as corporate strategy.

• SME of Operations including Manufacturing processes, Work in Process (WIP), Bill of Materials (BOM), Routings, Product Master Data ,MRP, Work centers, Inventory, Costing, Stock Controls, Forecasting and Purchasing.

• Participate in process analysis and redesign to enhance system capabilities.

• Consults with business unit managers and end users to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, data scope, usage, formatting and security requirements.

• Ability to map the as-is of existing processes, procedures and system and define the future to-be process, procedure or system configuration.

• Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective.

• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify gaps, interpret, provide work around solutions, validate and document customer requirements.

• Experience to maintain plant parameters such as MRP controller, MRP groups, MRP types, Lot sizing procedure, availability check for components, conversion of procurement proposals.

• Experience with shop floor activities including creation of orders, conversion of planned orders, printing of shop papers, goods movements, order confirmations and availability check.

• Implemented Repetitive manufacturing environment for production activities.

• Experience with implementation of Detailed Scheduling, Capacity Planning, Evaluation and Levelling to allocate operations to resources Configured PI sheets, process messages and process instructions.

• Comfortable to work and interact with Controlling team to solve issues related to costing sheet, activity pricing, work center, activity type and cost center assignment mapping, and product cost collectors.

• Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members.

• Proactively assess and evaluate current business processes in order to guarantee efficiency and operational excellence proposing business process or systems enhancements.

• Responsible for software integration and external interface development.

• Prepares time and cost estimates for completing projects.

• Is responsible to create a test plan for new developments in order to find gaps and errors to be fixed before formal approval and validation by end users.

• Supports and enhances SAP and Bolton systems with a continued focus on process improvement to meet business case goals.

• Manage enhancement projects with in house or vendor resources.

• Participate in System upgrades, inclusive of end to end testing.

• Stay current on emerging technologies that will benefit company.

• Develops, coordinates and implements plans to test processes and configuration assuring quality of any additions, changes or deletions to the system.

• Create and maintain proper documentation:

• Train users on processes, procedures and systems.

• Support daily Operations Issues – Prioritizing critical issues.

• Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues.

• Provides timely response to end user calls and help desk tickets assisting in problem resolution (help desk-role).

• Excellent verbal and written communication.

• Efficiently solve problems.

• Liaison between business and IT.

• Maintains focus on security, standards and compliance policies while building optimal solutions.

• Ensure that tickets are closed according to SLA predefined.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
• Minimum of 5 years designing and configuring PP modules knowledge of the key integration points between the other SAP modules (MM and QM experience is an asset).
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at the same time.
• Experience in a Professional Services or Distribution company is an asset.
• Understanding of accounting business processes.
• Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.
• Must be results oriented.
• Achieved the Go-Live date and gave Go-Live and Post Live Support. Conducted end user training, institution of help desk and end user documentation.
• Coordinated with technical consultants (ABAP consultants) and gave functional specifications for customizing reports according to the user requirements.
• Involved and coordinated unit and integration testing with other modules and created test scenarios.

Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
