Are you looking for an in-house Senior Service Technician position with an amazing company located in Irvine, CA? Immediate opening for a Senior Service Technician in Irvine, CA who possesses:
- AS in electronics or other technical degree equivalent or a minimum of 5 years related work experience required.
- 3 years + related technical experience
- Solid understanding of power electronics and electronic theory, both analog and digital
- Familiarity with basic lab test equipment including oscilloscopes, function generators, programmable power supplies, power meters and DMM's
- Experience working with high voltage power circuits, Understanding of high voltage high power safety
- Must be able to work from verbal and written instructions including blueprints, assembly layouts, wire lists, wiring diagrams and harness boards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Knows how to use and is very familiar with oscilloscopes, power meters and block diagrams.
- Experience working with high voltage 200-1200 volts.
- Ability to troubleshoot down to the component level and use schematic.
- Ability to understand and write software
- Mechanically inclined and great understanding of parts and systems
- Understanding of connector pins and power supply setup.
- Ability to accurately document the status of repairs and communicate effectively with staff.
