    Are you looking for an in-house Senior Service Technician position with an amazing company located in Irvine, CA? Our client is a provider of measurement instruments that include battery test, AC and DC electronic loads, and test management software, as well as power recycling and energy storage systems services within aviation, aerospace, defense, and military industries in the United States.     Immediate opening for a Senior Service Technician in Irvine, CA who possesses:

    • AS in electronics or other technical degree equivalent or a minimum of 5 years related work experience required.
    • 3 years + related technical experience
    • Solid understanding of power electronics and electronic theory, both analog and digital
    • Familiarity with basic lab test equipment including oscilloscopes, function generators, programmable power supplies, power meters and DMM's
    • Experience working with high voltage power circuits, Understanding of high voltage high power safety
    • Must be able to work from verbal and written instructions including blueprints, assembly layouts, wire lists, wiring diagrams and harness boards.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Knows how to use and is very familiar with oscilloscopes, power meters and block diagrams.
    • Experience working with high voltage 200-1200 volts.
    • Ability to troubleshoot down to the component level and use schematic.
    • Ability to understand and write software
    • Mechanically inclined and great understanding of parts and systems
    • Understanding of connector pins and power supply setup.
    • Ability to accurately document the status of repairs and communicate effectively with staff.
