Providing private label assemblies and contract labor to some of the largest OEM’s in the industry. They maintain both off the shelf and custom solutions for most connectivity requirements.

    Immediate Opening for a Health and Environmental Saftey Engineer, Santa Ana, CA who can:

    • Analyze EHS performance metrics, prepare reports, and make recommendations to senior management.
    • Ensure compliance to all Local and Corporate (CommScope) Environmental Health and Saftey rules and regulations (audits, reporting, training, and implementation of corrective actions)
    • Maintains a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety policies and rules.
    • Assist emergency authorities and response teams.
    • Implement / develop and maintain effective health and safety programs to eliminate workplace injury and illness.
    • Promote continuous improvement and standardization of existing health and safety programs, procedures, and tools to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
    • Hazardous waste management, including collection, labeling, storage, and disposal.
    • Responsible/Point of contact for facility maintenance topics; Schedule contracted vendors to complete preventative maintenance services for various mechanical and regulatory items.
    • Facilitate effective utilization and operation of facility support systems (example: air compressors, labelers, ovens, crimpers, polishers, etc).
    • Knowledge of the standards, codes, and regulations pertaining to the construction, and maintenance of structures and facilities.
    • Operate, maintain, and perform maintenance throughout the facility.
    • Ability to make engineering designs and to prepare complete plans for projects.
    • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, plans, drawings, and specifications. Ability to analyze costs of construction projects.
    • Creation, implementation, and execution of maintenance plan for (1) facility and equipment and (2) all manufacturing and office equipment.
    • Provides project management leadership for compliance projects.
    • Assist, supervise and coordinate the installation and repair of electrical, mechanical and architectural systems throughout the facility to ensure safety and efficiency.
