In this role you will manage and oversee the sourcing and logistics for all of our clients companies, including developing and establishing required organization, systems, processes and procedures. Improve productivity and efficiency and reduce costs while securing high quality material for the company.

    Immediate opening for a Corporate Supply Chain Manager in Orange County who possesses:

    • Business Administration, Engineering or Master’s Degree in Business Administration is required, with a minimum of ten (10) years Manufacturing or other relevant industry experience to include, but not limited to supply chain, in a global environment
    • Minimum five (5) years experience in global supply chain management (including distribution) in manufacturing or other relevant industry
    • Experience in new product launches is strongly preferred
    • APICS certification
    • Deep understanding and relevant experience in supply, logistics and distribution in US (mandatory); ideally also in Mexico
    • Successful experience building up transport, storage and distribution networks with Third Party Logistics Providers
    • Experience in planning (demand and supply) and participating in SandOP processes experience operating and communicating at the senior and executive levels internally and externally and managing interdepartmental processes.
    • Experience with ERP/MRP systems required
    • Proven track record of demonstrated thought leadership in negotiation, management and leadership skills
    • Demonstrated knowledge of market trends; ability to use market data to define organizational direction; ability to anticipate and respond to market challenges
    • Proven ability to manage the process of product supply and source of risk in end-to-end supply chain
    • Proven expertise in setting team expectations and clarifying roles and responsibilities in rapidly changing environments
    • Successful collaboration in a leadership capacity with cross-functional global teams
    • Cross-Cultural Resourcefulness-Ability and Agility to work in a complex matrix environment while respecting cultural differences
    • Knowledge and experience in Lean Six Sigma concepts, ideally green or black belt certification

    Key Responsibilities include:

    • Responsibility for strategic and operational management of the Supply Chain Management, from purchasing through sourcing, until material is received inside the facility.
    • Interacting with Executive Team members, participate in developing and executing company strategy and managing business to achieve company’s short and long term goals
    • Manage product supply in a cost efficient manner meeting KPI’s including those developed by corporate, maintaining reliable supply and enabling timely and successful product launches
    • Directly responsible for negotiating suppliers’ contracts for multiple sites
    • Directly responsible for negotiating contracts by commodity to achieve cost savings initiatives
    • Partner with executive management and functional heads in driving Sales and Operations Planning (SandOP) process in each company.
    • Drive continuous improvement of Supply Chain Management implementing PDCA cycle and other continuous improvement (CI) principles for organization
    • Prepare, monitor and control Supply Chain Management budget for companies.
    • Responsibility for management, development and mentoring of direct reports in Supply Chain Management Organization
    • Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
    • Maintain supply chain inventory and records
    • Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
    • Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
    • Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
    • Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
    • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
