Our client is a family-oriented civil engineering firm with about 40-50 employees on average. We are seeking a professional in-office administrator who has 3+ years of experience, values the benefits of a smaller organization rather than the large corporation. This position requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel and Team) who is an excellent typist, at least 60+ words per minute), Adobe Software and PDF experience, excellent organizational skills, advanced written and verbal communication skills, goal-oriented, motivated, friendly and presents oneself in a manner appropriate in a professional office setting. The Executive Office Administrator performs a wide variety of public works project focused administrative and clerical tasks and coordinates with the Director of Operations and others in supervisory and engineering roles. The position requires writing experience, the ability to effectively organize and complete detailed reports, specifications, agendas, and projects under critical deadlines. It’s essential to be able to work well with others and in teams, under high pressure situations, multi-tasking all while ensuring accuracy. Looking for some experience with public bidding, such as PlanetBids, engineering document management and other related duties is recommended.
