    Regional Sales Manager / Engineer, (remote + 50 % travel)

    Are you looking for a well established cutting-edge ISO 9001 & AS 9100 certified leading manufacturer where you will be responsible for driving business development in a thriving market? If you have a strong engineering and mechanical background combined with a strong sales personality READ ON! In this role, we are looking for an aggressive sales personality with a proven track record of success that also comes from an engineering background. We will be looking for someone who and has a strong mechanical aptitude and experience selling custom technical solutions to defense companies. This is a critical role on our team and we are looking for someone who is experienced in the field and equally mechanically and sales minded to further business development in this thriving market.

     

    Immediate opening for a Regional Sales Engineer / Manager (remote + 50 % travel) who possesses:

    • A 4 year degree, Engineering degree preferred or extensive experience selling mechanical solutions.

    • Previous experience as a design or applications engineer preferred but not required

    • Experience selling products for electronic rack mounted equipment applications a plus

    • Ideal Candidate has at least 4-5 years experience selling technical products and customized solutions.

    • Ideal candidate will already have contacts at defense and aerospace customers in the region

    • Willingness to travel overnight up to 50% of the time.

    Preferred:.

    • Persistence in developing new business and penetrating new accounts, even when facing multiple obstacles.

    • A relentless sense of urgency with a can do attitude and the ability to demonstrate results. Committed to do what it takes 

    • Detail oriented, able to clearly establish expectations and manage progress effectively.

    • Experience selling to large defense companies.

    • Ability to make rapid adjustments in response to industry changes.
