    Job Description

    JOB SUMMARY: THE COMPLIANCE PROJECT MANAGER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING AND FOSTERING AN ENVIRONMENT THAT ENHANCES AND PROMOTES COMPLIANCE. THIS POSITION WORKS WITH COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT IN THE PLANNING AND EXECUTION OF COMPLIANCE OVERSIGHT AND RELATED ACTIVITIES.

    THE COMPLIANCE PROJECT MANAGER ALSO WORKS CLOSELY WITH TEAM MEMBERS THROUGHOUT THE ORGANIZATION TO IDENTIFY COMPLIANCE ISSUES, FACILITATE PRODUCTIVE PROBLEM-SOLVING DISCUSSIONS, AND EFFECTIVELY MITIGATE COMPLIANCE RISKS. REPORTS TO THE CHIEF QUALITY OFFICER.

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • MANAGES PROJECTS, INITIATIVES, AND AUDITS TO SUPPORT THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE SNAPNURSE BUSINESS AND REGULATORY COMPLIANCE PROGRAM

    • PERFORMS ROUTINE COMPLIANCE OVERSIGHT BY MONITORING OPERATIONAL FUNCTION’S COMPLIANCE WITH STATE AND FEDERAL STANDARDS

    • COMPILES, EXTRACTS, ORGANIZES, AND ANALYZES DATA

    • SUSTAINS COLLABORATIVE RELATIONSHIPS BY FACILITATING COMMUNICATION THAT ENHANCES COMPLIANT OPERATIONS

    • RECOMMENDS IMPROVEMENTS IN COMPLIANCE PROCESSES AS WELL AS OPERATIONAL POLICIES, PRACTICES, AND CORRECTIVE ACTION PLANS, AS APPROPRIATE, TO ADDRESS DEFICIENCIES AND ALIGN WITH REGULATORY STANDARDS

    • MONITORS AND DOCUMENTS PROGRESS AND OUTCOMES; ESCALATES AREAS OF NONCOMPLIANCE TO MANAGEMENT AS REQUIRED

    • CONTRIBUTES TO ANNUAL COMPLIANCE RISK ASSESSMENTS AND THE COMPLIANCE OVERSIGHT PLAN

    • ACTIVELY PARTICIPATES IN IDENTIFICATION OF POTENTIAL RISK AREAS AND FACILITATES DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTIONS TO ENSURE CONTINUED COMPLIANCE

    • CREATES DETAILED REPORTS ON COMPLIANCE ACTIVITIES INFORMING MANAGEMENT OF RESULTS, TRENDS, RISKS AND DEFICIENCIES

    • DEVELOPS AND MAINTAINS DOCUMENTATION OF ALL COMPLIANCE ACTIVITIES AND COMMUNICATIONS WHICH ARE CONDUCTED TO SUPPORT CORPORATE AND REGULATORY COMPLIANCE EFFORTS

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • BACHELOR’S DEGREE FROM AN ACCREDITED INSTITUTION OR EQUIVALENT WORK EXPERIENCE

    • MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS’ EXPERIENCE IN HEALTHCARE

    • STRONG (VERBAL AND WRITTEN) COMMUNICATION, NEGOTIATION, AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION SKILLS

    • MUST HAVE STRONG ANALYTICAL SKILLS

    • INTERMEDIATE SKILLS IN MS OFFICE SUITE (WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK, POWERPOINT)

    • DETAIL-ORIENTED, ORGANIZED, AND ABLE TO MANAGE MULTIPLE PRIORITIES TO EFFECTIVELY MEET DEADLINES IN A FAST-PACED WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • WORKS WELL BOTH INDEPENDENTLY AND IN A HIGH-PRODUCING TEAM ENVIRONMENT

    • A MOTIVATED, SELF-STARTER

    • ABLE TO WORK WITH OTHER DEPARTMENTS TO FOSTER COLLABORATIVE RELATIONSHIPS THAT PROMOTE COMPLIANCE

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 1 YEAR HEALTHCARE/BUSINESS COMPLIANCE EXPERIENCE

    • 1-3 YEARS’ AUDIT AND MONITORING EXPERIENCE

     

    COMMUNICATION/KNOWLEDGE: EFFECTIVE WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS; ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH VARIOUS INDIVIDUALS BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE ORGANIZATION; AND ABLE TO UNDERSTAND AND CREATE REPORTS/PRESENTATIONS/PROPOSALS. POSSESSES STRONG LEADERSHIP SKILLS INCLUDING THE WILLINGNESS TO PURSUE ROLES WITH INCREASING LEVELS OF ACCOUNTABILITY, COACHING, TEACHING, INSPIRING, FORGING ALLIANCES, AND COLLABORATING TO NEGOTIATE RESOLUTION TO ISSUES. ABILITY TO WORK UNDER STRESSFUL SITUATIONS. PROFICIENT WITH COMPUTER SYSTEMS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MS OFFICE. HIGH PROFICIENCY WITH GOOGLE DOCS, GOOGLE FORMS, & GOOGLE SHEETS.

    THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION WITH THE OPTION TO GO FULLTIME BASED ON PERFORMANCE.
