Position Overview:
Snapology of Gig Harbor is seeking an Operations & Training Manager to operate and help keep up with the growth of their location. This person will work closely with the local Snapology team to execute the initiatives and operating standards set forth by Snapology while ensuring a positive atmosphere for children, parents, and team members. As a Snapology Operations & Training Manager, you will work with a motivated team of instructors who are passionate about working with children. You’ll learn, play, and grow your skills with the leading children’s STEAM franchise in the country. What will your work life look like? You’ll be a leader. You’ll work efficiently in a project based, time sensitive environment, have opportunity to engage in community events (including some weekends), but you’ll also have autonomy and flexibility.
Role & Responsibilities:
Flexible schedule: Part-time to Full-time, with partial work from home.
Identify and maintain Snapology’s operational policies, procedures, and guidelines as needed.
Collaborate with the broader Snapology franchise network to maintain up-to-date documentation on operations and training requirements and practices.
Manage and coordinate student enrollment, community and private events.
Help inventory, coordinate, and allocate all teaching materials and LEGO bricks across programs
Maintain all inventory and technology assets such as LEGO® kits, laptops, tablets to be clean, ready to go and accounted for.
Communicate with the Lead Teacher to ensure there are no questions or support needed for supplies and implementation of the event.
Identify team members or customer concerns by listening and consulting with Snapology leadership to improve or enhance operations.
Seek individual performance reflections and create a positive climate for teachers to provide feedback on curriculum and classroom experiences.
Maintain all teacher clearances.
Ensure all team members are trained properly upon initial hire and embody the core values of Snapology.
Ensure teachers are properly trained for each program prior to the commencement of each class.
Maintain and manage team member schedules.
Coordinate and facilitate new hire trainings.
Passionately pursue involvement in the local community.
Participate in special events as needed
Build relationships with local schools, churches, businesses, etc. to create community partnerships.
Support our social media marketing outreach
Occasionally teach or assist in classes when needed.
Solve problems in a way that maintains a positive and healthy environment for all.

This position is flexible part time to full time with work from home option for some of the work scope.
