    JOB SUMMARY

    COLLECTIONS/INSURANCE ADMINISTRATOR JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Collections/Customer Service Clerk researches, monitors and collects routine aged Accounts Receivables for delinquent accounts, verifies insurance requirements, and assists the Portfolio Manager and Insurance Administrator.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Monitors and processes collections of receivables for delinquent accounts, which may include writing letters, outbound collection calls, contact of clients and other related duties

    · Review reports to validate information, prepare and send invoices, and other documents

    · Assists with review of aging Accounts Receivables and interact with Accounts Receivables to resolve billing discrepancies, reconciliations and other issues

    · Collection of escalated accounts, including repossession orders and related documents

    · Receive and process telephone payments

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Documentation of inbound/outbound phone calls, letters and other communications with clients

    · Contact appropriate parties to resolve payment discrepancies

    · Develop and implement alternative payment plans for resolving account balances

    · Backup to Insurance Clerk in verification of policy status and collection of information

    · Audit and maintain company held title documents

    · Assist Portfolio Manager with collections, Accounting and Insurance related tasks

    · Assist Insurance Specialist with Insurance requirements and insurance related tasks.

    · Additional projects as assigned by the Portfolio Manager

    REQUIREMENTS

    · High degree of accuracy and detail required.

    · Requires strong analytical and organizational skills.

    · Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

    · Ability to establish priorities, handle and resolve problems, and meet deadlines.

    · Willingness to learn new and changing processes.

    · Must have good interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic.

    · Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and data entry software.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    · Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Use of Office equipment i.e. computer, phone, printer… Position may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.

    Job Type: Full-time Monday through Friday - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

    Salary: $17.00 to $19.00 /hour
