Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain a secure, scalable, and reliable Snowflake platform across multiple environments.
Manage Snowflake warehouses, databases, schemas, roles, and access controls following enterprise best practices.
Develop and enforce standards for performance optimization, cost management, workload management, and platform usage.
Administer platform security including role-based access control (RBAC), least-privilege access, masking policies, row access policies, and audit controls.
Lead user onboarding activities including provisioning, access setup, role assignments, documentation, and enablement support.
Build and document best practices for Snowflake platform design, operations, governance, security, and support.
Monitor platform performance, cost, access activity, and usage trends through observability and audit capabilities.
Establish logging, auditing, and monitoring standards to improve operational visibility and compliance readiness.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience designing, administering, and supporting Snowflake in an enterprise environment for 5+ years.
Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture including virtual warehouses, databases, schemas, storage, cloning, time travel, and secure data sharing.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake security models including RBAC, masking policies, row-level security, and governance controls.
Experience with observability, audit logging, usage monitoring, and cost optimization for cloud data platforms.
Ability to document standards, operational procedures, governance controls, and best practices clearly and effectively.
Experience onboarding users and supporting cross-functional teams in a shared data platform environment.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and solutions.
