    Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract

    We are looking for a Senior Snowflake Solutions Architect to support a strategic data warehousing and integration initiative for a leading financial-services / hedge fund client.

    The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Snowflake expert who can design enterprise data warehouse solutions, integrate multiple data sources, optimize performance and cost, and work directly with business and technology stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Design and implement scalable Snowflake data warehouse architectures.

    Serve as the Snowflake SME/Architect and provide technical guidance.

    Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and data models.

    Work with multiple upstream/downstream systems and applications.

    Perform Snowflake performance, workload, security, and cost optimization.

    Collaborate with data engineering, application, infrastructure, security, and business teams.

    Troubleshoot production data, pipeline, and integration issues.

    Document architecture and technical standards.

    Required Skills:

    Strong hands-on Snowflake architecture and implementation experience.

    Advanced SQL, data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT.

    Strong knowledge of Snowflake warehouses, stages, streams, tasks, clustering, RBAC, and performance tuning.

    Experience building and supporting production data pipelines.

    Strong data integration and architecture experience.

    Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

    Ability to work as both a hands-on engineer and technical architect.

    Preferred Skills:

    Experience in hedge funds, asset management, investment management, capital markets, or financial services.

    Experience with dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Informatica, Matillion, or similar tools.

    Python and AWS/Azure experience.

    Experience with financial data such as trades, positions, securities, pricing, P&L, risk, or market data.

    Snowflake certification is a plus.
