RBT Registered Behavior Technician ABA HOCO Snowflakes ABA, LLC - Columbia, MD $20 - $30 an hour Part-time *Immediate need for RBT to work with children in their homes in Howard County Maryland. Candidate must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week. Looking for people who are willing to work evenings and potentially weekends (but not required). What we offer: 1. We are looking to hire behavior technicians or RBTs (registered behavior technicians). The job of a behavior technician is to independently implement the plan of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Reliable transportation is essential for this position. Some duties may include collecting data, entering data into different Microsoft applications, writing service notes for the session, updating graphs, and maintaining accurate records of billable time. Therapy takes place in family homes. Some patient goals may be play skills, social skills, language, adaptive skills, decreasing maladaptive behaviors, vocational skills, and academic skills. Qualifications: 6 months experience working with people with disabilities using ABA Experience with Verbal Behavior High School Diploma Background check clearance upon hire Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a related field 1 year experience working with people with disabilities using ABA We are looking for individuals who are creative, strong problem solvers, eager to learn, have good communication skills, and are committed and dependable!
