    Job Summary

    The Dishwasher creates a welcoming environment for our guests by ensuring that all plates, glassware and silverware are properly cleaned and sanitized. This person works within a team to ensure that these items are stocked throughout the shift in a timely manner. Additionally, the dishwasher performs housekeeping duties such as sweeping and mopping floors, removing trash, and ensuring restrooms are clean, stocked, and orderly.

    Responsibilities

    Interacts with all front of house and back of house to effectively keep plates, silverware, and glassware clean and stocked

    Opening and closing of restaurant including setup of dish station and mopping and polishing all floors

    Keeps all trash and disposables emptied and clean at all times

    Manages in house chemical station to ensure proper storage and use of cleaning materials

    Assists kitchen with all needs and requirements of storage containers and plateware

    Follows all federal, state and local laws, codes, and regulations outlined by management and the Employee Handbook

    Skills and Abilities

    Ability to work effectively within a team

    Follow through with all assigned tasks and be flexible to accommodate quickly to newly assigned duties, including duties which may include other So Hospitality Group brands

    Ability to follow verbal directions

    Ability to work in elevated temperatures and a wet environment

    Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment

    Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed

    Required Qualifications

    16 years or older

    Restaurant kitchen experience is a plus
