CAD/Drafting/3-D Printing Specialist

Location: Missoula, MT

DUTIES:

Looking for CAD/Drafting Specialist to support a technology and development program. The individual shall serve as CAD drafting coordinator and 3-D printing designer and fabricator. Additional duties include, but are not limited to:

Managing drawing archives

Developing equipment drawings from schematics, concept illustrations, computer-generated drawings or verbal instructions

Preparing mechanical illustrations

Coping and printing drawings for staff

Printing, plotting, scanning hard copy and electronic copies

Designing and modifying pre-processing tasks to include slicing and programing infill

Fabricating prototype and small-batch productions using Additive Manufacturing Technologies

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

· In-depth knowledge and experience of 2D/3D AutoCAD

· Architectural drafting

· Presentation drawings

· Engineering graphics

· Photoshop, Inventor, and Microsoft Office expertise

· 3-D printing design and manufacturing software

Skills:

· Oral communication and presentation skills

· Basic drawing skills

· Ability to solve problems

· Work under time constraints

· Knowledge of drafting practices and industry standards
