SALES ASSOCIATE JOB DESCRIPTION:

Soapy Shark Car Wash is hiring Sales Associates to join our growing team!

Soapy Shark is joining the West Palm Beach community in October of 2022. Soapy Shark’s state-of-the-art car wash provides exceptional automated car wash services with industry leading amenities in a family friendly environment.

Our Sales Associate role is an outstanding opportunity to grow career building skills while representing a hospitality focused company dedicated to serving its customers and the surrounding community. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide a friendly, warm and inviting environment by making eye contact, smiling and greeting all members and guests at the point of sale

• Communicate with members and guests to identify their needs, answer questions and sell wash club memberships

• Build familiarity with club members and ensure maximum customer satisfaction while consistently meeting daily and monthly sales goals

• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services

• Promote annual passes and upgraded membership packages to existing members

• Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a respectful, helpful and attentive manner

• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas

• Document and update customer records based on interactions

• Follow established guidelines and procedures when performing any services including but not limited to inspecting vehicles for potential damage or hazardous items, maintaining a clean work environment and assisting in cleaning the facility

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Reliable and punctual

• Effectively communicates and follows directions

• Energetic personality with the desire to work in a team-oriented environment

• Positive attitude and professional demeanor

• Experience in customer service or sales

• Comfort working outdoors, standing for extended periods of time and moving frequently throughout the shift

• Flexible working hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays. Typical shifts are 4-6 hours

• Willingness to follow company dress code and operational guidelines

• Bilingual English / Spanish (preferred)

• Commission structure with competitive hourly starting pay of $14/Hour

HOURS:

• Monday 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM

• Tuesday 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM

• Wednesday 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM

• Thursday 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM

• Friday 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM

• Saturday 8:00 AM –7:00 PM

• Sunday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
