    Job Description

    Introduction/Purpose

    Sobi North America has identified Customer Experience and Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning as critical factors to driving a competitive advantage and enhancing business performance over time. We are seeking a seasoned and innovative analytics professional to lead key Data Science initiatives as the Manager/Sr Manager of Data Science within our Customer Experience & Advanced Commercial Capabilities department. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in data science, machine learning, and analytics, coupled with demonstrated leadership skills to steer the team in contributing to advancements in pharmaceutical data and analytics by building advanced commercial capabilities. This role will be a critical team member supporting the build of our AI/ML capabilities for Sobi North America and providing support across franchises in key AI commercial projects.

    Essential Responsibilities/Scope of the Job

    • Project Management: * Own and contribute to the planning, execution, and delivery of data science AI/ML projects related to commercialization of Sobi products through analytics. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data science projects with Sobi NA goals and commercial strategy. * Work closely with external team of data scientists with a focus on pharmaceutical data analytics and insights. * Cultivate a collaborative and research-driven culture within the team.

    • Technical Expertise: * Stay abreast of the latest developments in data science and machine learning specific to the pharmaceutical industry. * Provide technical leadership and solutions for complex data challenges leading analytical solutions to our growth products.

    • Data Analysis:

    • * Conduct comprehensive data analysis to extract insights relevant to commercial, market access and medical functions.
      
      • Develop and implement statistical and machine learning models to enhance processes around patient identification, HCP engagement and targeting.
    • Collaboration: * Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand objectives and business requirements. * Collaborate with other departments to integrate data science solutions.

    • Communication: * Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders within the pharmaceutical/biotech domain.

    • Articulate complex technical concepts in a manner understandable to stakeholders.

    • Ability to be a strategic business partner while having impact above and across the organization

    • The ability to thrive in situations of ambiguity and provide a clear path forward toward solutions

    • Sense of accountability and ownership and able to work independently

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Master's or Bachelor’s in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Engineering, Analytics, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences).
    • Proven experience in a data science and AI/ML role within the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 6 years of working experience.
    • Good knowledge and hands on working experience with specialty pharmacy, specialty distributors, Hub, Copay and claims data.
    • Strong programming skills (e.g., SQL, Snowflake, Python, R) and expertise in machine learning frameworks.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an understanding of pharmaceutical research processes.
    • Analytical reasoning abilities, intellectual curiosity, strong business acumen, and creativity in problem solving
    • Experience working in a highly matrixed environment and standing out as a successful collaborator
