Soble PLC is a top Law Firm 500 real estate and finance law firm, seeking a highly motivated legal assistant with real estate and litigation experience. We provide our legal advisory services to individuals and small businesses throughout Michigan and Ohio. We are looking for someone who is comfortable in a busy and client-focused environment and who understands the importance of client service, and meeting deadlines. Candidates will provide work under the supervision of senior real estate attorneys. Familiarity with real estate and probate is a plus, but not required. This Legal Assistant II position requires some, but not all of the major duties and responsibilities that make this role crucial to the Soble law firm: Qualifications and Experience: • Associates degree accepted with experience; Bachelor's degree a plus • Ability to work efficiently in a high paced environment, prioritize work, collaborate with colleagues, and meet deadlines; • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills; • Integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed; • Problem-solving and analytical skills; Key Competencies: • Organized, focused, detail-oriented • Teamwork and collaboration • Initiative • Curious and willingness to learn new things within legal arena. • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, • Proficient using the internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and other databases. • Knowledge of the specific areas of the law is not a requirement but is helpful. Salary Range:$45,000 to 60,000 per year, plus benefits, commensurate with experience.
