At Soccer Shots you can do just that!

Soccer Shots is a program that introduces soccer to children aged between 2-8 in a fun, non- or semi-competitive and creative way.

Currently Looking for 2 coaches to join our team to staff our expanding programs.

Don’t know much about soccer? No problem!

While it is a bonus to have some knowledge of the game it is not essential. Paid training will be provided

Our program is growing, and we now offer coaching opportunities at local day care centers, local parks, preschools and more.

Pay for our open positions is $15 per 35 to 40-minute session coached, $30/hr and entirely dependent on how many sessions you want to coach!

Responsibilities:

***Conduct high energy, creative and fun 30 to 45-minute sessions using the provided curriculum.

Instruct 10 – 15 sessions a week. (Equivalent to 10 - 15 hours).

Possibly instruct more than 10 sessions a week for the right candidate.

Submit Availability three weeks prior to the start of a season.

10-week commitment to season once the schedule is set. Times and days of each instructors’ scheduled sessions will not change.

Travel to each assigned location weekly. Site to site travel may be required.

Provide a supervised, safe, and caring environment for every child.

Maintain organized and clean provided soccer equipment.

Maintain and submit weekly attendance and invoices online.

Submit Standout Player nomination per season.

Attend coaches training day twice a year (Spring and Fall).

Attend Mid-Season Coaches meeting conference call per season.

Complete our comprehensive training program to receive certification within 2 weeks of hire

Continued growth and professional development under the supervisor of the Director of Coaching.

Commitment to the philosophy, goals, and core values of the Soccer Shots Franchise.

Qualifications:

Enthusiastic! Must enjoy interacting with young children (2 – 7 years old) and be able to engage and connect with them on their level, making the Soccer Shots class the best 40 minutes of their week.

Availability Monday through Friday between 9:00AM and 7:00PM

Availability Saturdays between 9:00AM and 12:00PM.

Soccer experience is preferred.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Reliable transportation is mandatory.

Subject to a background check with the Michigan State Police, Central Registry, and the Michigan Licensing & Regulatory Affairs Child Care Background Check

Professional Development/Training:

Complete our comprehensive training program to receive certification within 2 to 3 weeks of hire.

Attend Coaches Training Day twice a year (Spring and Fall).

Attend Mid-Season Coaches meeting conference call per season.

Undergo a coaching evaluation by the Director of Coaching per season.
