Sure, we want you to have some soccer skills and to be familiar with the game, but more importantly, can you handle a group of 12 three year olds? This is what truly separates Soccer Shots from everyone else - we are in this to impact children in such a way that we leave a lasting impression on them that will give them the confidence to be successful both on and off the field. We want our 30-minute Soccer Shots sessions to be the BEST 30 minutes of each child’s week.     Soccer Shots is ramping up its operation, and we are looking to expand our team of instructors to accommodate our growth. We operate in daycares, preschools, community centers, and parks all over the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

    We have on-site sessions running Monday through Friday, and Park Programs running in the evenings and Saturday mornings. Seasonal schedules will fluctuate between Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall; however you will be at the same locations at the same times each week once a season schedule is set. We need you to be committed 100% for the entire season.

    The ideal instructor MUST meet the following criteria:

    Neat in appearance, friendly, and courteous

    Must be able to engage and interact with 2-8 year olds

    Attend mandatory meetings

    Knows curriculum prior to session

    Maintains equipment in proper condition

    Arrives 15 minutes prior to the start of each session to set up the “field” before session begin

    Keeps Accurate Attendance in real-time via personal mobile device

    Organizes children into approved-sized groups and does not miss any registrants

    Ensures the safety and well-being of every child

    Retrieves and returns children (per site process) for each session (No child is ever left alone)

    Communicates in a timely fashion with Directors/Owners about any changes, challenges, or important information

    Records timesheet real-time on location per payroll policy via personal mobile device

    Soccer experience is preferred

    Physical/work Environment Requirements:

    This position functions in an inside/outside sports environment a majority of the time. Work requires ability to run, stop, stoop, and bend (a physical, exercise type regimen) in a minimum of 40-minute increments per session. The position requires use of hands, arms, legs and feet and may include lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion. Moderate gymnasium-like noises are associated with this position as well as excellent vision skills (with or without correction).

    In addition to the above, a successful candidate must pass a Background Check, Child Abuse History Clearance, be CPR and First Aid Certified, in addition have 8 Hours of pre-service child care training. Upon employment required to have 24 hours of continuing education each year.

    The job description above is a part time position requiring fewer than 30 hours of work per week. Soccer Shots programs are offered during select weeks of the year, thus the employment is also per operational hours.
