    About the Position:

    Soccer Shots NYC Central is actively seeking a regular part time (25-35 hours per week) operations coordinator to be a leader in leaving a lasting, positive impact on every child we serve in Soccer Shots classes. This position is mostly remote, with some support needed in person for classes and coordination. It takes a staff of passionate and remarkable individuals who are excited about working with young children and creating the Soccer Shots experience for every person we interact with on and off the field. The operations coordinator will set up seasons, plan in advance, schedule, support customers and partners, and be excited to keep the team organized! The desired candidate is an exceptional communicator, a team player, and a leader in representing Soccer Shots' core values.

    Soccer Shots is the leader in youth soccer development for children ages 2-8. Our nationally recognized program offers a high energy, fun, age-appropriate introduction to the wonderful game of soccer. Our innovative curriculum emphasizes both soccer skills and character development. Take a look at our website for more information! Here are some expectations for the position:

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    24 hour communication to customers and partners (phone, email, text)

    Season set up, promotion, and marketing for all programming

    Backend class management, waitlists, coupons, invoices, class cancelations, permits etc

    Supporting customers and coaching team to create the best possible experience for families

    Assisting or leading Soccer Shots classes in person

    Create and organize core processes

    REQUIREMENTS

    Preferred bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience

    Cares about wellness, health and working with young children

    Team player that also is able to work well independently to meet multiple demands

    Strong communication, both written and verbal

    Effective and excited about organization and administration

    Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, 365, Trello, Pipedrive, Quickbooks

    Must be able to adapt schedule to manage hours, workload and business expectations. ie. swinging hours from week day to weekend to help with weekend class support/coordination

    Job Type: Part Time, with potential for full time upon performance

    Hourly Rate: $25-$30 per hour9 paid holidays, accrued PTO, and paid vacation time after successful introductory period of 60 days
