    SOCCER SHOTS DMV:

    Soccer Shots DC/MD/VA (DMV) was established in 2009 Soccer Shots DMV stretches from Harford Co, MD to Prince William Co, VA. Soccer Shots DMV offices are located in Laurel, MD and Fairfax, VA. Soccer Shots DMV works closely with Soccer Shots Franchising National Headquarters in Middletown, PA.

    REPORTS TO: Director of Talent Development and Culture

    OBJECTIVES: To Lead, Manage and Growth the Coaching Department in all aspects of Recruitment, Hiring and Training across our teams in Washington D.C, Montgomery County County, Prince George’s County & Anne Arundel County. This role will be asked to perform the following functions:Benefits/Perks:

    Salary: $45,000 to $55,000 per year based on experience + competitive benefit package and bonuses.

    Coaching, Training, and Staff Leadership

    Implement the company’s high standard for coaching, and develop a team of high performing coaches.

    Work with recruitment team to ensure seasonal coaching needs are met

    Partner with Training Team to ensure successful on-boarding and training for new coaches

    Responsible for Managing a Team of Coaching Coordinators and Brand Ambassadors and evaluating the performance and development of the coaching team

    Responsible for ensuring coaches have a positive impact in the organization’s NPS scores

    Create processes for accountability & project management of the Soccer Shots Program schedules and seasonal evaluations on all coaches

    Ensure all coaches complete our training process

    Responsible for creating a culture representative of Soccer Shots Core Values within the team

    Responsible for schedule completion each season

    Appropriately prepare staff needs for upcoming season, and forecast needs for future seasons

    Coach up to 10-15 sessions per week as needed based on business need

    Responsible for planning, preparing, and executing the seasonal coaches meetings

    Work with Director of Talent & Culture in creating and developing processes that enhance the Coaching Department

    Business Administration

    Responsible for approving coordinators & coach’s payroll and time off requests

    Collaborate with Human Resources Department to ensure compliance with coaches

    Manage budgets for instructor cost, equipment, gear, and supplies

    Work on forecasting models and opportunities that effectively and economically benefit the business and the staffing needs

    Preparing reports and presenting to Director of Talent and Culture as needed

    Ensuring there is regular upkeep of the department’s tools for recruitment, training & development

    WORKING HOURS/LOCATION/SCHEDULE:

    The job description above is a full-time, exempt position requiring a minimum of 40-50 hours of work per week. Your weekly agenda and schedule will be assigned by your supervisor. Many Soccer Shots programs run weeknights & weekends, and availability is paramount. This is a full-time, exempt position. During seasons, expected working hours will vary and will include working on weekends and some weekday evenings.

    SOCCER SHOTS OBJECTIVES:

    For Soccer Shots to be the best run, most popular, and most successful program offered in DC/MD/VA

    For Soccer Shots to have a reputation of excellence. An objective measure of each territory’s reputation for quality will be learned in the Net Promoter Score survey conducted at the end of each season

    To be a Top 10% franchise in participant registration and revenue (in category) and per capita rating and to meet and exceed seasonal and annual enrollment and revenue goals

    COMPANY EXPECTATIONS:

    Prompt, reliable, and professional communication—responds immediately to customers (parents, directors, staff), and always responds to supervisor and other Soccer Shots support staff within 24 hours

    Meet weekly, seasonal, and annual timelines and deadlines. Develop systems to stay organized, keep good records, and be efficient with your time

    Meet seasonal performance goals. Go above and beyond company expectations to sell, promote and market our program prior to each season

    Provide excellent customer service

    Adhere to all company policies and represent Soccer Shots with professionalism and integrity

    Hire, train, and manage a staff of coaches who will uphold a standard of excellence and create a positive reputation for Soccer Shots

    PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS AND REVIEWS:

    Performance will be reviewed after the first 60 days of employment

    Objectives of the position and company expectations will be reviewed quarterly through a meeting with supervisor

    REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

    College degree required in a related field

    Masters Preferred

    Minimum 5-7 years of youth coaching experience

    Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sports management or a similar field

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Suite
