Compensation: $20/hr, $15/hr while training Location: Southwest Chicagoland Suburbs Hours: Part-time and flexible - We work around your schedule. Must be available throughout the fall; this is not a summer-only position. Days of the Week: We offer classes Monday - Saturday at various times throughout the day.
A Soccer Shots Coach mentors children (ages 2–9) by leading fun, high-energy soccer sessions that focus on character development and motor skills. Coaches travel to local preschools, daycares, and park districts, using a provided curriculum to create a positive, inclusive environment.
The Job:
Bring Soccer Island alive with your enthusiasm and creativity.
Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 9 years old, including field set-up and take-down.
Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling.
Utilize expert-created Soccer Shots curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques in every session.
Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
Follow all on-site safety and attendance protocols.
Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers.
Flexible locations and hours - We will schedule your classes around your location and around school or other job hours.
Qualifications:
No prior sports/coaching experience required.
Genuine passion for children and sports.
Energetic, engaging, and responsible.
Safety-conscious.
Ability to adapt to the needs of kids ages 2-9.
Access to reliable transportation.
Ability to stand, jog, and model children's soccer skills.
Coaches must be able to pass a background test.
