    Soccer Shots is offering great pay and looking for part-time soccer coaches who love having fun with kids! Soccer Shots will provide all curriculum and training. No coaching or soccer experience is necessary, just a desire to work with children in a fun, high energy environment!

    LOCATIONWe bring our fun intro-to-soccer classes to preschools, daycare facilities, elementary schools and public programs throughout the East Bay. Soccer Shots coaches work in multiple facilities one day a week - same day/time for each school assigned.

    HOW TO APPLY

    3. Briefly describe your experience with soccer and/or fitness/sports in general

    4. City of residence and approximate area willing to coach in. Note: the more open you are to travel, the more opportunity there is to coach more classes. This job requires reliable transportation - specifically, a car

    5. Schedule of availability (days of week, time of day) from now through May. We especially need weekday mornings and afternoons. We are also looking for an amazing Saturday morning coach in Pleasanton.(Please note this position is for training in remaining Fall season and then Lead Coaching in Winter/Spring seasons)

    6. How many classes/week are you looking for? (classes are about 40 minutes total)

    This job is part time and work is available while seasons are in session with some downtime between seasons. Typical coaches teach between 4-10 classes a week (number of classes widely varies and is dependent upon a multitude of factors)

    DETAILS

    Competitive compensation - $20/class or $22/class if you have 12 ECE core units once training requirements have been met. Classes run an average of 45 minutes including field set-up and breakdown.

    SCHEDULE

    Consistent weekly availability, 9am-12pm or 12-5pm (or both).

    Minimum availability of at least 2 days a week (M-Sat).

    Hours are part-time with a set schedule (same day, same time each week) for the season length. Great coaches will have continuing opportunities year-round. We offer year-round programs in the Fall, Winter/Spring, Spring and Summer seasons.

    Responsible & Professional | communicate professionally, timeliness, clean appearance, self-assured, dependable

    Experienced & Enthusiastic | proven experience engaging and leading young children

    Fun & Creative | comfortable being goofy and imaginative with young children

    Patient & Empathic | must be a patient person, willing to work through behavior and learning challenges

    Soccer & Athletic Know-How | Soccer skill as a player or coach is preferred, but not required

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Transportation & Cell Phone | must have reliable transportation (a car for driving to different locations) and mobile phone with data

    Clear Background | must pass a Livescan (with clear record) and health screening

    Health Requirements | must provide proof of vaccinations (TdAP, MMR) and negative TB test result. Should be able to work on your feet, outdoors, and periodically lift up to 20 pounds

    Education | 12 accredited ECE units in Early Childhood Development are preferred, but not necessary
