Reports to: Executive Director, Soccer Shots DC/MD/VA
Job Description: It is the Regional Director’s responsibility to manage and direct all duties related to the operations of Soccer Shots Northern Virginia, and to grow and improve the program in the region. Regional Directors have the following overall responsibilities:
Leadership:
Build, lead and coach a high functioning team to execute in key areas of program delivery, coaches training, and customer service
Conduct performance reviews with team members
Contribute to the growth and development of the Soccer Shots DMV Leadership Team through:
Leadership Team (LT) meetings with Executive Director
Leading Soccer Shots DMV meetings in specific topics as agreed upon by LT
Taking on projects that can benefit all Soccer Shots DMV employees in key areas of professional development
Assisting and/or supporting other Regional Directors as needed during periods of transition
Business Operations & Program Quality:
Implement the company’s high standards for program quality throughout the region
Improve operational systems, processes and policies in support of the organization’s mission
Oversee region’s business systems and operations
Business Planning & Administration:
Establish plans and strategies to strengthen the current business while expanding the customer base
Evaluate competition and implement differentiation strategies
Meet or exceed both financial and non-financial goals and adhere to the agreed upon budget
Develop action plans and budgets for the Region for Executive Director’s approval
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented throughout all employees in the region
Role/Classification:
The job description above is a full-time, exempt position requiring a minimum of 40 hours of work per week. Typical/expected working hours are Monday through Friday, between 8:30am and 5pm. During busy seasons, it will be necessary to work additional hours, including some weekday evenings and some Saturday mornings to meet deadlines and to exceed goals. Coaching sessions is not a requirement of the position, but will be expected as needed. At times, position is required to stand, run, walk and communicate in an outdoor environment through duration of work assignment.

Program Performance Evaluation and Reviews:
Soccer Shots will perform an initial review after 60 days
Soccer Shots will perform an annual review at least annually
Required Education/Experience:
BS/BA in business administration or relevant field; MS/MA will be a plus
Minimum 8 years experience in related field
Minimum 5 years customer management experience
Minimum 5 years in a progressive management role with experience leading teams
