Part Time Coach

Mentored by: Director of Childhood Development

Key Role: The Part-Time Coach is responsible for coaching between 5-30 classes per week. A Part-Time Coach is eligible to participate in the Coaching Level 10 weekly meeting and engages in professional development offered to the team. A Part-Time Coach will also be trained in Operations and Marketing in order to provide excellent customer service on the field, in the community, and over the phone.

Job Summary:

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Coach between 5-30 classes
• First sub 2-5 days a month
• Provide a remarkable customer service experience on the field, in the office and in the community
• Problem-solve and eligible to participate in the Coaching Level 10 meetings
• Making sure those extra efforts are completed bi-weekly or weekly (community phone calls, player of the week, thank you notes, weekly wins, mid-season reviews, end of season certificates)
• Additional training in both Marketing and Operations departments
• Attend monthly team meetings
• Attend coaching meetings every 3 weeks to develop coaching skills

Requirements:

• Must be available 2-3 days per week plus Saturdays
• Minimum of a 1-year commitment
• Must enjoy working with children, can be silly, and organized to complete administrative tasks on time
• Must live in the San Diego Area

Hours and Pay:

• $17 per class for assisting and training
• $18 per class & administrative hours
• $1 per hour raise at anniversary
• $2 per hour raise with completion of 12 ECE Units plus $800 bonus

Eligible for pay raise and promotion within the first 16 weeks of employment depending on hire date. We help all team members through the process of earning 12 credits in Early Childhood Education. Courses are 8 weeks long, asynchronous, and fully online. Team members receive a raise, bonus, and additional benefits if the employee is full-time.
