    Company Profile: Soccer Shots is the leader in youth soccer development for children ages 2-8. Our nationally recognized program offers a high energy, fun, age-appropriate introduction to the wonderful game of soccer.     Soccer Shots Franchising (SSF/The Company): Since 2005, SSF has been franchising nationally. The purpose of the Company is to develop, train, and support successful franchise owner/operators and to build, promote, and protect the Soccer Shots brand nationally.

    Objectives of Position:

    To further develop the professionalism of Soccer Shots Franchising events and training.

    To take ownership of the planning, organization, and execution of Soccer Shots Franchising events which include, but are not limited to, Quarterly New Operator Trainings and Annual Soccer Shots National Conventions.

    Reports to: Matt Grams, Vice President of Operations

    Responsibilities:

    Event Planning/Coordination

    Manage event budgeting, expense tracking, and invoice review

    Select and coordinate with vendors

    Ask probing questions to ensure all aspects of events have been thought through

    Manage logistics of SSF events including venue, guests, catering

    Work with Graphic Designer and Director of Marketing for programs and marketing

    Work with Director of Inventory Operations for inventory needs

    Manage event set-Up, delegating responsibilities to SSF staff as needed

    Manage event clean-Up, delegating responsibilities to SSF staff as needed

    Meeting Set-up

    Prepare conference room for in-house meetings (i.e. furniture arrangement, technology hook-up)

    Responsible for food (order, pick-up/coordinate delivery)

    Planning/Coordinating Quarterly New Operator Training Weeks

    Work with Director of First Year Training and Support to manage all aspects of the week

    Arrange travel & stay accommodations

    Coordinate meals for training

    Manage vendors

    Reserve venue & venue set-up

    Head of Annual Soccer Shots National Convention Planning

    Project manage Ownership and Leadership teams in selecting vendors, guest speakers, venues and other events

    Event budgeting and tracking

    Delegate tasks and responsibilities to SSF staff, managing projects and tracking progress

    Plan and lead SSF Convention meetings

    Role/classification: The job description above is a non-exempt, full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week. Expected working hours are Monday through Friday, between 8:30am and 5:00pm. On occasion, it may be necessary to work additional hours, including some weekday evenings and some Saturdays to meet deadlines and to exceed goals. Position could require up to 10% travel.

    Required education/experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in related field required

    At least 2 years of experience in:

    Budget Management

    Event Management

    Event Planning

    Project Management

    Evaluation and Review:

    The position’s supervisor will perform an initial review after 60 days.

    Goals and key performance measurables will be reviewed quarterly.

    Performance reviews will be conducted annually.
