Key Role:
The Coaching Coordinator works closely with The Director of Coaching to build a dynamic, and successful Coaching team. This position is responsible for the training, team building, coverage, curriculum support, scheduling and completing support tools, leading meetings and coaching.
Job Summary - Duties and responsibilities (not limited to):
Assists the Director of Coaching with new hire orientation to all new team members
Holds coaches accountable
Oversees and completes on-field observations
Seeks out talent to promote
Assists with the development and continued training of the coaching team
Assists in researching, creating, and improving training methods for the coaching team
Attends weekly coaching department meetings
Serves as one of the first calls for a coach substitute
Responsible for all coaching inventory and gear
Professional development
Requirements:
Reliable transportation in order to travel to classes all over Reno, Sparks, Carson City
The ability to communicate with the Soccer Shots office while in the field
Proof of a TB test within the past 2 years from the date of hire; proof of a new TB test must be taken every 2 years
Proof of 9 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units
Proof of Pediatric CPR Certification; Pediatric CPR Certification must be reissued every 2 years
Continued training in Child Development, Education, and Leadership
Coach 5-15 Soccer Shots classes
Preferred Experience
Working with children ages 2-8
Working in a team environment
Comfortable giving feedback to coworkers
Hours
This is a part time position, about 20 hrs per week The Schedule is M-S 9am-12pm
